So many things can inspire the start of a piece of jewelry. Sometimes a specific technique will get my creative juices flowing. I’ve seen wonderful work, ancient and modern, that used sections of tubing as the starting point of a necklace. Several years ago I decided to follow the lead of those who have gone before and chose a garden theme for my first “take the tube” necklace.
I enjoyed the process so much that I made more including one that had an ancient relics theme.
I’ve taught this class several times in the past and the students always produce amazing work that reflects their own interests whether of the sea, forest, romantic France, ancient times, etc. I’ll be teaching it again this weekend at my home studio in Escondido, CA. A few spots are still open if you’d like to participate. Just email me at jonnafaulkner@gmail.com to register.
I will be at this class and the one in May. Lisa
